Changes in the in-store world
Tímea Pesti, managing director of HL Display and the chairwoman of Hungarian POPAI began her presentation by describing the proportion of impulsive purchases in various sales channels in the UK. She also used international examples to explain the latest in-store strategies. Regarding the US, she pointed out that personal service is the present trend. Displays dominate in the UK, with a dynamic growth in the number of digital in-store tools. The value of POS advertising has reached GBP 1.3 billion.
