New president for MSZÉSZ

At the beginning of November the 60th general meeting of the Hungarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (MSZÉSZ) was held at Aquaworld Resort Budapest.

László Könnyid, CEO of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) told in his welcome speech to more than 400 participants: the number of guests increased by 9.7% and that of overnight stays was up 5% in the first nine months of 2024. Members elected Zoltán Somlyai, head of the hotel division of BDPST Zrt. as the association’s president for two years, starting on 1 January 2025. //
