Change in the leadership of HOFER
The 52-year-old Horst Leitner will be the new president and CEO and the unlimited member of HOFER KG, parent company of the ALDI Magyarország Élelmiszer Bt. from 1 December 2018.
He replaces Dr. Günther Helm (39), who after 15 years he spent at the ALDI SÜD/HOFER group and after 8 years he spent as president and CEO and unlimited member of HOFER KG, Dr. Günther Helm leaves his office at his own request and in full agreement with the company. Following the departure of Dr. Günther Helm, Horst Leitner is in charge of the HOFER Group’s Austrian and international activities.
Horst Leitner has been working for ALDI SÜD/HOFER Group for more than 26 years, most recently as a member of the Board of Directors of ALDI USA.
