Lake Balaton resist the crisis

The tourist season at Lake Balaton was better than expected – stated the Chairman of National Tourism Commission (NTB) at an event in Badacsony.

On the joint meeting of National Tourism Commission (NTB) and Lake Balaton Development Council (BFT) Rosta Sándor, the President of the Balaton Regional Tourism Committee stated that the holiday demand of people remained, but many have spent less time and spent less money for their vacation this year. Compared to the same period of the previous year, a 9.6 percent decline has occured in the number of guests, and a 11.5 decrease in overnights stays – reports Profitline.hu.
