Changes in company objectives due to covid-19 pandemic
Over the past 12 months, the role of business and corporate responsibility has increased in an unprecedented way. Recent research by global communications company Grayling involving 500 international business leaders shows that companies are increasingly recognising their wider role in society. International trends can be seen in Hungary, as evidenced by the good practices of companies in Hungary.
- Almost half of those surveyed agree that responsible environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) will be more important than in any previous year.
- Almost two thirds of respondents believe that businesses have a collective responsibility for the societies in which they operate.
- Of those who agreed with the idea of collective responsibility, 85 percent believe that social welfare also contributes to the well-being of their business.
