Valentine’s Day Vegetable Dating
Responsible Gastrohós, which promotes sustainable eating, draws attention in a playful way to the fact that there is life beyond strawberries on Valentine’s Day! An imaginary dating site was launched in February for seasonal ingredients, where they can find vegetables and fruits that match each other in terms of taste and content.
Around February 14th, shops advertise imported strawberries, and restaurant menus are also dotted with exotic aphrodisiacs during this period. For years, the Responsible Gastronomy Foundation has wanted to draw attention to the harmful environmental effects of these imported products with its Valentine’s Day campaigns. A menu composed of domestic, seasonal ingredients has already been prepared.
