Vajda-Papír: Hungary is completely self-sufficient when it comes to hygienic paper products
The annual production of Vajda-Papír, a 100% Hungarian-owned hygienic paper product company, exceeds domestic needs, so even Hungary can be self-sufficient when it comes products, even with the increased demand during the coronavirus epidemic. This year, the 20-year-old market-leading company also produces hygienic paper products – toilet paper, paper handkerchiefs, paper towels – for export, to its factory in Dunaföldvár, Europe’s most modern, largest paper mill in the region, and its private label products are delivered to Scandinavia, the Baltics and more than 20 countries in Central and Eastern Europe. Sales in foreign markets did not stop during the coronavirus epidemic either, thanks to the available processing capacity of 140,000 tons per year and the flexible production capacity of the modern technology factory handed over a year and a half ago.
