Cut tobacco was seized by NAV in Szabolcs county
The National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) seized about one and a half tons of leaf and 311 kilograms of cut tobacco in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county – the regional press officer of the authority told MTI on Wednesday.
Lieutenant Colonel Dávid Zoltán said that the financial guards checked a minibus running without a license plate in Kékc and they came across the tobacco goods and a tobacco cutting machine in the trunk of the vehicle.
During a house search at the driver’s residence, several hundreds more kilograms of leaf tobacco prepared for cut were found. (MTI)
