A meat-processing plant was handed over in Tata
The Fiwi-Hűt Kft. handed over its meat-processing plant and cold storage, built with a close to one billion HUF cost in the Industrial Park of Tata on Saturday. The plant is one of Europe's most modern facility – was said before the inauguration.
In Hungary over the past year 11 thousand tons of wild meat was marketed. The company this year processed 140 000 wild animals. From the 2,100-tons quantity 170 tons came from Croatia and Slovakia. In 2012, the net income was 1.7 billion HUF, and the number of employees was 29 people. It is scheduled that in the next few years the number of employees can be around 50 people. The company operates in Tata since 1994. The 1,600 square meter hall was built in a greenfield investment. (MTI)
