A game meat processing plant was established in Napkor Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county

A game processing plant was established in Napkor, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County. The 814 million HUF investment was handed over by Deputy Prime Minister Semjén Zsolt in the village close to Nyíregyháza.

At the event, the deputy prime minister told that the government supports the consumption of game meat because it is biologically the purest, most valuable and healthiest type of meat, and is considered special because of its taste.

“Therefore, the Hungarian government broadly supports everything that will result in an increase in the consumption of game meat and fish” he said. Zsolt Semjén emphasized that Hungary is a hunting power and Hungarian hunting is a hungaricum, and together with Austria, Bavaria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia it is one of the highest hunting cultures in the world.
