V4: do not cut EU subsidies!
Representatives of the Parliamentary Committees for European Affairs of the Visegrád Countries called the 20 percent cut in EU funding for the next seven-year budget cycle unacceptable at their meeting in Sárospatak on Monday.
Hörcsik Richárd (Fidesz), chairman of the parliamentary committee, said at a press conference following the meeting that the election of the president of the European Commission also showed that the Visegrád cooperation (V4: Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary) can also assert its interests in important tasks.
