The JátékNet.hu web store opened stores in four cities
The online store JátékNet.hu has opened stores in four cities by taking over the four stores of the Játék Island and its 30-person team, Modell & Hobby Kft., which operates the online store, told MTI.
According to the company, the opening of retail stores is also explained by market trends. After the dynamic growth that occurred during the coronavirus epidemic, they experienced a reorganization in the market last year, and they saw that it was difficult to achieve significant growth in the online space.
Gergely Őri, managing director of Modell & Hobby Kft., put it this way: international trends show that many online stores are entering the physical space. The store openings at the selected locations mutually strengthen JátékNet.hu’s online and offline presence.
Negotiations on the takeover of the stores were concluded at the beginning of February, and the stores were taken over in four weeks. The company’s first four toy stores in Budapest, Győr, Pécs and Debrecen have been open since the beginning of March.
