Business and brand building at the same time
Another great initiative in catering: Arany Kaviár restaurant in Budapest serves its own caviar brand to guests and to a few selected partners. The Siberian sturgeon roe is produced by Silverfish Kft. in Vésztő and chef Szása Nyíri prepares the caviar. Attila Molnár, one of the owners told us that they fill a market niche, because practically nothing is available between the HUF 4,000-5,000 salmon caviar and HUF 50,000-120,000 sturgeon caviar. They sell the product under the Arany Kaviár Gourmet Selection brand name in 30-, 60- and 130-g versions. It is also available in certain delis, and they are going to sell it on-line and export it as well.
