Walmart to remove self-checkouts from some of its stores
Following Target, Dollar General and other chains, Walmart has begun to recalibrate its strategy for self-checkouts and the checkout experience. Walmart is removing self- checkouts in some of its stores in favour of cashier-operated checkouts. The decision was based on employee and customer feedback, shopping habits and business needs at each location.
