The guide is also available online on the Nébih portal The harmonized methods for veterinary laboratories are published by WOAH, the body that develops animal health rules and procedures of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). In the case of international shipments and related tests, the appropriate use and clear reference of the methods is required both for the official licensing of laboratories and for the accreditation based on it. It is important that veterinary laboratories apply the methods in an appropriate manner and make a clear legal reference to them. The laboratories concerned must provide references to the WOAH methods in the format specified in the guidelines and with the exact method names when applying for the next accreditation procedure. The guidelines can be viewed on the Nébih website.
