In order to deal with the drought situation, the National Water Directorate General (OVF) is creating a scheduled irrigation schedule in addition to technical interventions, and in order to eradicate illegal water withdrawals, it has requested the cooperation of disaster management. The OVF wrote in its statement sent to MTI on Friday that due to the rainless weather and the continuous decrease in water resources, water needs have increased drastically, and in the areas most affected by the drought – Tiszántúl, the Danube-Tisza connection – the situation is further aggravated by the increasing heat. and the lack of significant rain.
