Travel assistant application for the blind and visually impaired
A Hungarian-led international consortium developed a travel assistance application for the blind and partially sighted.
According to information from Bay Zoltán Applied Research Public Nonprofit Ltd., they run a consortium of Hungarian, Austrian, Spanish, Portuguese and British partners in the so-called VUK project (Visionless sUpporting frameworK). The consortium developed a door to door navigation system for the blind and visually impaired for urban transport. (MTI)
