Wizz Air reached a peak in passenger traffic in June
Wizz Air broke its June passenger traffic record, 4.34 million people flew on its flights last month, the airline announced to MTI on Tuesday.
Compared to the same period of the previous year, the monthly passenger traffic increased by 179 percent, they wrote. Wizz Air explained the outstanding result with the improvements, the funds laid in recent years will ensure growth in the next decade as well, according to the announcement.
They added that despite the challenges affecting air transport, their network has expanded over the past 12 months, so they now offer more than a thousand routes to almost 200 destinations. With the additional aircraft orders, the goal of Wizz Air having a fleet of 500 aircraft by the end of the decade can also be fulfilled.
