Road to the Michelin star
To qualify for the Michelin-star, a restaurant must fulfill a number of conditions. In addition to the excellent food, the testers of the star place great emphasis on quality wines.
Pongrátz Péter Costes Downtown’s sommelier said that “Uniqueness and constant quality are very important so guests are given the same level of cuisine each time. This criteria is the same in case of wines. When choosing a new wine it is an essential aspect to maintain its quality after opening the bottle.”
