Used cars are more and more popular
The merger of Banif and Cofidis was completed on 1 January 2017. The French company has became one of the broadest offering bank in 2017 in the area of consumer lending.
According to the company’s consumer survey carried out with the help of nearly 70 car dealerships 2017 will be a year of used cars. While in 2016, 8 percent of the Hungarians bought a car, this year nearly 14 percent of the Hungarians plan to buy cars. Primarily the focus in 2017 will be on older vehicles. Most people (41 percent) are looking for cars aged 5-10 and 33 percent for 10-15 years old cars typically in a value between 500 thousand to 1 million HUF. The most popular types are Suzuki and Opel, followed by Volkswagen and Ford.
