UPS: the e-commerce will drive the mail order market
The UPS expects further significant expansion on the logistics market, primarily due to the boom in online shopping.
Iulia Nartea, Head of UPS’s small package and freight business told MTI in an interview, that they started the capacity expansion several years ago in order to serve the needs arising from the online trade. As part of the expansion project the company expanded the American company’s European base in Cologne from 200 million USD where they increased sorting capacity to 190 thousand per hour. (MTI)
