Sipospack Kft. is one of the most significant packaging technology companies in Hungary. Thanks to the investment, the company has doubled the current size of the production hall, and thanks to the expansion and the new machines, the use of waste will be present in a more complex way in the life of the company.

Sipospack Kft. has been developing and expanding continuously for forty years. He often takes a pioneering role and introduces new technologies. Gyula Sipos, the managing owner of Sipospack Kft., highlighted during the handover of the warehouse and production line:

– We laid the foundation stone of our new building last November, and today I can announce – that we have expanded the warehouse and production line in Sólskút by 3,000 square meters, thus creating five new jobs. More than forty years ago, our neighbor often remarked: “who always forgets to turn on the electricity?” He didn’t know that it was light because we were working, often late into the night. At that time, the warehouse and production were in the basement of our family house. Today, it’s not just that there are rows of solar panels on the roof or that the product range has multiplied. After Biatorbágy and Herceghalom, Sóskút is the main site of Sipospack Kft. During this time, one thing hasn’t changed, because this has been the company’s philosophy and my expectations of ourselves from the beginning: let’s be environmentally conscious, environmentally friendly during production. The product we produce must be recyclable, i.e. reusable. Sipospack Ltd. its logo is not green because it is a pleasant color. From the beginning, our green logo has been announcing: we operate in an environmentally friendly way, we produce green products. We use alternative energy sources: solar panel, biomass boiler. Environmental awareness is one of the cornerstones of Sipospack Kft.’s strategy. The first phase of the Sóskúti investment was handed over nine years ago. Even then, we felt that we would outgrow and started planning the expansion. This was also necessary for the implementation of the new innovation idea.

Gyula Sipos also said that many plastic by-products are produced during the various work processes. However, these are clean, easily usable materials that are recycled back into production. For example, it can be used to make an excellent ZIP sealing tape for the Doypack bagging machine launched two years ago. The by-products are collected, granulated, and then this granulate can be reused.
