Holidays and weekends in the crosshairs of cybercrime
Long weekends are a particularly attractive time for cybercriminals, as their attacks are on the rise these days, the FBI’s headquarters in this area points out. In addition, statistics show that the first half of the year produced dramatic results, with reported ransomware attacks increasing by more than 60 percent in the United States alone.
