Univer Product: ketchup and baby food for export

The Kecskemét-based Univer Product Zrt. broke into the international markets. The company, famous mostly for its mustard and mayonnaise products, tripled its exports in 2010.

The Hungarian owned company exports mostly baby food to foreign markets. Only to the Netherlands, the company exports about 5 million units of the product, which is the 43 percent of the total quantity exported (11.5 million units). The export activity was also helped by the weakening of the forint – reports penzcentrum.hu, after Népszabadság.
