United Illusions: A new chapter opens in filmmaking in Hungary
On January 16, Hungary’s first and Central Europe’s largest film studio complex specializing in virtual filming opened its doors under the name United Illusions, which can already claim a special quality guarantee award, as it awaits film storytellers with unique services, of which there are less than ten similar ones in the whole world.
The Budapest filming locations frequently sought by the world’s leading filmmakers are expanding with a new alternative, as a new film studio complex called United Illusions Virtual Production Studio, providing outstanding services not only in our country but also in the region, opened its doors in Fótliget.
“We are proud that Visual Europe Group (VEG) has created a world-class film industry complex in Budapest, which further strengthens our country’s role in the international film public consciousness,”
– stated Botond Szabolcs, founder and co-owner of Visual Europe Group.
VEG was among the first to start dealing with visual technology and providing LED walls in large volumes in the region, which was later joined by sound and lighting technology.
“Innovations and visual technology solutions have played an important role in the growth of the group of companies and in achieving our success, so it was obvious that we could take our diverse knowledge and experience gained by operating LED walls to a higher level by creating a Virtual Production studio that opens a new era in filmmaking. The new complex was realized primarily taking into account the expectations and production needs of international crews visiting our country, but of course we also expect domestic productions, whether it is feature films, commercials or music videos. Our goal is to build lasting business relationships with international and domestic film producers and position United Illusions at the forefront of the virtual production revolution”
– added Szabolcs Botond.
