Monor’s wine was granted EU protection
The European Commission endorsed the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) for wines produced in the Monor region, the EU Commission announced on Monday.
The approval of the Committee is valid for white, red and rosé wines produced under the name Monor or Monori, and applies to cuvettes made from them. The wine can be produced from grapes produced in the Monor wine region. (MTI)
