The Hungarian products regulation on EU consultation

The Hungarian products draft regulation regulation has been completed but it should be approved by the European Union as well, therefore the ministry has launched the notification process – told the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) to MTI on Friday.

With the legislation the VM wants to regulate the voluntary labeling of food products, serving accurate information of their origin, their quality and the method of preparation. The draft will be examined in Brussels. The process can take six months – reports MTI.
