The EU has brought an action against Hungary due to the restriction of retail margins
The European Commission has brought an action against Hungary at the Court of Justice of the European Union for limited margins on the retail sale of agricultural and food products – the EU commission announced on Thursday.
According to the European Commission, the Hungarian legislation deprives consumers and businesses of the full benefits of the single market, which is contrary to the principle of free movement of goods and the EU Regulation on the common organization of agricultural markets. (MTI)
