Unilever: 3.5 billion euros profit between January and September
Due to the dynamic performance of the emerging markets, Unilever has reported about rising business results again in its third-quarter report. One of the largest participant of the global FMCG market is reached 13.2 percent sales increase in the third quarter of 2010.
Unilever closed the last quarter with a total turnover of 11.55 billion euros, which is a 13.2 percent increase, compared to the previous quarter. Meanwhile, the 1.8 billion euros operating profit of the British-Dutch FMCG is a 21 percent increase, compared to the results of the second quarter. Unilever’s net profit increased by 21 percent to 1.35 billion euros in the third quarter.
