Talks restart for selling Asda
Asda’s parent company Walmart has restarted talks over the potential selling of a stake in the grocery retailer. The step comes more than a year after its failed merger with Sainsbury’s. Walmart said that it was in discussions with third-party investors who are interested in buying a stake in Asda. Asda’s value is estimated to be around GPB 7 billion.
