New plastic bags made from recycled waste in Tesco
Tesco’s sustainability practices for reuse and recycling go beyond product packaging. The department store chain now gives new life to 150 tonnes of plastic a year by using the waste generated in its operations in new plastic carrier bags. With the thickness and load capacity of the new bags larger than their predecessors, Tesco encourages shoppers to use the new bags as often as possible.
