This year, the event will take place in Jakabszállás, where the colorful world of rural innovation, gastronomy and community thinking will come to life again for one day on November 13. REL Expo is a professional meeting, knowledge-sharing space and inspiring fair – a true Carpathian Basin meeting point for all those who believe that local products are not only tastier, but also build a more sustainable future. We know that strengthening the sustainability of rural small businesses is one of the keys to rural development. Therefore, the exhibition accompanying the conference gives small producers and businesses the opportunity to meet service providers tailored to the needs of small entrepreneurs, producer groups to present their products and services, and to build new business and professional relationships. Visitors to this year’s expo can also get acquainted with a peanut butter press, grilling workshop equipment and small-scale solar solutions.

This year, 100 exhibitors await the interested parties: small producers, artisans, businesses focusing on small and marginal production, local governments, experts, rural developers and decision-makers – in one place, on one day, for one goal: to strengthen rural values.

The focus of the event this year is on climate change adaptation: how small businesses can become more innovative and how they can find new ways towards sustainable operation.

In addition, the first participants of the Open Door Days agrotourism program and the finalists of the Agrotourism Food competition will also be introduced – with flavors, stories and inspiration, and gastronomic programs.
