The legendary Szeged based Kass hotel’s ground floor has been re-opened
Recalling the original function, legendary Szeged based Kass hotel’s (formerly known as Hotel Hungária) ground floor has been re-opened in its old function, as a place for accomodiation – Gálosi Gyula, an owner of the operating company informed MTI.
The Hotel Hungária was closed nearly four decades ago, in December 1976. In recent years, there were several attempts to revive the legendary place, but visitors could only use the hotel for a few days or weeks. Now young locals have joined their forces with the aim to save Szeged’s iconic architectural masterpiece, and step by step to fill the building with its original function; hospitality. (MTI)
