The Danubius Hotels is profitable again

The pre-tax profit of the Danubius Hotels Nyrt. in the first half of the year was 406 million HUF, compared to the  706 million HUF loss of a year earlier; The EBITDA result showed a nearly 1.1 billion HUF improvement compared to last year's first six months – anounced the hotel company in its IFRS, consolidated, unaudited report on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

The pre-tax profit of the group in the second quarter totaled a 1.551 billion HUF, 68 percent over the results of the same period of last year.

All operating and other income in the first half of the year was 21.1 billion HUF, 9 percent higher than in the first half of last year, as the result of the significant growth of all geographical segments. The revenues decreased by 1 percent in euros due to the exchange rates.  (MTI)
