A growing number of online purchases in Hungary, too
The number of airline-tickets sold online grew by 50 percent in the past one year. At Malév, 10 percent of the passsangers purchased their on the company's website, now this number is 16 – an article by NOL concludes.
The same number is 19.5 percent at British Airways and Lufthansa has also reported a growing number of on-line orderers. These numbers, of course, may be even higher in reality, as these statistics only show orders made on the given company's own website. There are no reliable statistics about the real, actual worlwide number of online orders, but according to some experts, this number may even be over 40 percent.
