Further growth in television ad spending
Between February 2015 and January 2016 baking ingreTea sales exceeded HUF 12 billion in the last two cumulative years. Like-for-like value sales stayed put but volume sales declined by 2 percent in February 2015-January 2016.
401-2,500m² stores realised 35 percent of value sales and 51-200m² shops were responsible for 22 percent of tea value sales. In value, 84 percent of the tea we purchased was manufacturer brands. Companies spent HUF 5 billion on commercials – at rate card price 24 percent more than a year earlier.
