The seed plant in Mezőhegyes became a Hungarian state estate again
The seed plant of Mezőhegyes became a Hungarian state estate again. The National Herd Farm purchased its production subsidiary from Limagrain, owned by French producers – the Hungarian company informed MTI on Monday.
According to the announcement, Limagrain started independent trading in Hungary in 2000. In 2014, Limagrain Europe purchased a seed plant in Mezőhegyes, and most recently, in 2017, signed a long-term contract to produce corn and cereal seeds on the lands of the Nemzeti Ménesbirtok és Tangazdaság Zrt.
