He explained that in recent times, many rural families have started agricultural production as an income supplement, and the non-refundable support of up to 10 million forints can be an important help for their developments and investments.
An application must be submitted to the Hungarian State Treasury for the support
The application started on March 5 and the spring submission phase lasts until April 1. To submit an application, you need an existing small production capacity. The Secretary of State drew attention to the fact that the National Chamber of Agriculture and Rural Development has undertaken to write the application for free to those interested through the village network, which is a huge help for the youngest. Zsolt Feldman detailed that, among other things, you can apply for support related to animal husbandry, gardening, or the processing of agricultural products. The investment is also supported by the fact that a 25 percent advance payment can be paid without proof of self-funding, after this has been settled, it is possible to request another 25 percent advance payment. The scheme requires that the purchased equipment be kept in operation for at least 5 years, but it is not expected that the applicant be a full-time agricultural producer. The support intensity is 85 percent, for example, for a development worth 4 million forints, you can receive 3.4 million forints as a non-refundable grant. The Secretary of State also said that the previous agricultural small-scale farm tender was extremely popular, with 14,000 winners in the past few years, with 77 billion forints provided to them.
