You can reapply for the grape restructuring subsidy

152/2023 on support that can be requested for the restructuring and conversion of vineyards entered into force. (XII. 21.) AM decree, thus once again giving winegrowers the opportunity to apply for vineyard restructuring support. In 2024, grant applications can be submitted for the first time between January 4 and 22 on the website of the Treasury. After that, every year – again in the calendar year 2024 – it will be possible to submit support applications on the website of the Treasury between November 2 and 30. In 2024, the Treasury will judge the grant applications submitted by January 22 by April 15. After the completed parts of the grant application, the payment application can be submitted between April 1 and June 1 each year.
The intensity of the support is between 50% and 75%, depending on the characteristics of the vineyards
As in previous years, the Treasury can only approve support requests that achieve at least 34 points out of 50 in the case of grape planting (variety change or relocation). In the case of improving cultivation technology methods, at least 45 points must be achieved. A maximum of 50 points can be obtained for grant applications based on seven criteria. One of these is integration and competitiveness, within the framework of which, based on the wine market experience of recent years, it is now possible to obtain a maximum of 14 points for two new legal titles, based on the production value for grape growers and the ratio and unit price of bottled exports for wineries. During the grant application period of January 2024, a higher score and grant intensity can be achieved by complying with the previous restructuring plans prepared in 2018. Due to the changed wine market situation in recent years, these restructuring plans will be reviewed in the first half of 2024 with the involvement of the relevant mountain community organizations.
