Borsodi Brewery has signed a three-year agreement with the Hungarian Football Association (MLSZ), according to which Borsodi will be the official beer of the Hungarian men’s national football team.

“Last year’s European Football Championship was an uplifting and special experience for the national team and I think for the entire country. And for us, it was an exceptional pride to be part of both the cheering and the celebration as the team’s official beer. So there was no question for us that if the opportunity arose, we would like to support the national team again. We are confident that the next three years will hold many experiences that we can happily toast with a cold pint of Borsodi”

– said Zsolt Vuleta, CEO and Commercial Director of Borsodi Brewery, in connection with the signing of the contract.

Spiegel György

Referring to the long history of Borsodi Brewery and sports and football, György Spiegel, the company’s marketing director, said:

“In the more than five decades of Borsodi Brewery’s history, supporting sports has always played an important role. As we say, football is in the brand’s DNA. In addition, our experience in 2024 made it clear that if possible, we would like to continue the cooperation. We believe in long-term partnerships, which is why we are particularly pleased that Borsodi can be the official beer of the national team for another three years. We are preparing many surprises for the period ahead.”

– he added

Borsodi is also expecting many surprises for its fans in connection with the World Cup qualifying series starting in September.
