Retail sales fall again

The volume of retail sales – on the basis of the calendar-adjusted datas – in June 2011 declined by 0.5% and essentially stagnant in the first half of the year, compared to the same period of last year.

According to the seasonal and calendar adjusted datas, the volume of traffic in June was 0.5% below the datas of the previous month.

In the national retail store network as well as in the mail order retail in June 2011, 658 billion HUF worth goods were marketed, in the first half of the year 3579 billion HUF turnover was realized – reports KSH – NGM – Világgazdaság Online.
