International tourism on top form again

At the beginning of the year it was revealed: 2024 had been a record year for domestic tourism.

Recent figures show that last year international tourism also reached pre-pandemic levels, with 1.4 billion international tourist arrivals recorded worldwide. According to the UN World Tourism Barometer, tourist arrivals in 2024 were at 99% of 2019 level – an 11% rise if compared to 2023. //
