Co-operative Group to use biometric data collection to record worker hours
The system will use biometric data collection terminals enabling finger scan verification, to record the working hours of 55,000 staff members.
The Co-operative Group is introducing a
new workforce management solution provided by Kronos.
The solution will replace the
retailer’s current system, which requires some information to be
keyed in at store level. Key benefits include efficiency gains in
management of store staff, as well as easier access to information on
long-term staffing trends and patterns.
