Hungarian railway vehicle production is reborn
The new owners of the company, TMH International AG, part of the TMH Group, and Magyar Vagon Zrt. (MA-VAG) bring most of an order for 1,300 railway passenger cars worth 1 billion euros (350 billion HUF) to Dunakeszi. 680 railway passenger cars will be produced in Dunakeszi for the Egyptian National Railway Company. This creates a unique opportunity to boost the production of Hungarian railway vehicles that has a long tradition.
