Novelty by IKEA
Beyond its trademark style and overwhelming stores, IKEA is known for making products that aren’t exactly a joy to assemble. Now, though, the company is pushing furniture that can “snap together like a jigsaw puzzle.”
IKEA’s logistics managerJesper Berodin spoke in an interview about the upcoming changes:
“IKEA furniture typically contains quite a lot of fittings. We see some challenges in the time and interest in doing that. So we thought, what happens if we try to take them out totally? We are now into the implementation phase of making it possible for you to click your furniture together.” (portfolio.hu)
