PENNY opened another store in Szeged
On October 10, PENNY opened its newest store in Csongrád-Csanád county. With its modern appearance and high-quality and budget-friendly product range, the discount store provides a convenient shopping opportunity for the city’s residents.
The discount chain always organizes promotions suitable for the given season; Customers are also welcomed in the newest unit with weekly updated offers, loyalty programs, and additional promotions available via the PENNY card and application. Their initiatives aim to support the population in making healthier and more economical decisions. Of course, the shop will also have the popular Karát and Dárdás own-brand cold cuts available in the new packaging.
In 2023, all units of the discount chain underwent a facelift, so the latest PENNY was designed accordingly, keeping in mind the company’s sustainability goals and the needs of customers. The discount store located on Kálvária avenue in Szeged was equipped with modern mechanical devices and a heat recovery system. Full LED lighting, photocell doors, and modern cooling and air conditioning equipment also contribute to the building’s energy-efficient and sustainable operation. The new discount store provides permanent and stable work opportunities for 18 people, and several part-time colleagues are also employed.
