Another travel agency pulled down the shutter
Beontrips Kft., a well-known travel organization and intermediary company, announced that it went bankrupt and at the same time suspended its activities. The Budapest Capital Government Office has already removed the company from the official register of tour operators and intermediaries. This step has a significant impact on passengers who have already made a reservation.
According to the information published on the company’s website, the staff of Beontrips Kft. will contact passengers with reservations to inform them of the next steps. The company emphasizes that all affected passengers will receive adequate information and guidance in this difficult situation.
In addition, Beontrips Kft. has guarantor insurance for the provision of property collateral with the European Travel Insurance Zrt. (EUB). This insurance can help passengers claim compensation if the company is unable to meet contractual obligations. The company asks those concerned to visit the website of the EUB regarding compensation claims.
