Stars were given to an additional fifteen hotels
The National Ministry of Economics, the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ) and a committee, consisting of the representatives of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry decided on the star rating of additional 15 hotels.
Among others, Hotelstars trademark was given to six four-star hotels. The Continental Hotel Budapest has received the 4-star superior classification, as well as two Hunguest hotels.
Thus, 269 has benn classified, out of the 471 registered hotels, which is 40 percent of the domestic hotel capacity.
