New products in the Price Monitoring System
The online Price Monitoring System operated by the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) has been expanded with 42 new product categories.
This article is available for reading in Trade magazin 2025/8-9.
This means that consumers can now compare prices in a total of 142 product categories on the online platform. This represents more than 5,000 different FMCG products. Not only the six biggest retail chains, but also three nationwide drugstore chains provide daily data to the system from 1,788 stores.
