Bird flu has appeared in another settlement in Poland
In a new settlement in western Poland, a highly contagious H5N8 subtype of avian influenza virus has emerged.
This time killing a 6,000 goose had to be slaughtered – the PAP news agency told.
This is the second such case in the Greater Poland Voivodeship since the beginning of the year.
Since December, more than 100,000 birds have to be killed in the flocks around Lublin in eastern Poland. (MTI)
